Sunday School

    The intent of Sunday School is to form a basic spiritual foundation for children by teaching basic Bible truths, classic Bible stories, and introducing them to spiritual disciplines (Prayer, service, giving, Bible study, etc.) at an early age, and in a small group setting.  Classes are available starting with pre-Kindergarten 4-5 thru 5th grade. Maximum class size is 15 students, each with two adult volunteers.  We currently use Faith Weaver curriculum.

    When you arrive please go to the information center in the front foyer or to the welcome center in the cut through and a volunteer will gladly see that your child gets to the right room.
 

Children's Church

     The intent of Children's Church is to introduce children to corporate worship, in a large group setting.  A weekly Bible lesson is presented by way of drama (Costumed skits, monologues, game shows, etc.).  Following the 30 minute drama time, children break in to small groups for crafts, activities, and discussions, which reinforce the drama presentation.  We currently use “Living Inside Out” curriculum by Group Publishing. 
      Children's Church is designed to correspond with the 10:45-12 noon adult worship service, thus giving children an age-appropriate place to worship while allowing their parents to do the same.

Wednesday Kids' Choir (Sept - May)

    Our four children's choirs meet fall through spring on Wednesdays from 5:50-6:45 pm.  Children’s Choir is a great life long experience for every child.  Each child gets to learn about God’s Word, how to praise and worship God through music and also gets to have fun while learning these things!

Music Time - For Pre-K and Kindergarten students. Class meets in Room 2106.
Music Makers - For children in 1st and 2nd grade.  This group meets in Room 2103.
Young Musicians - For children in 3rd thru 5th grade. This group meets in Room 1205 (Choir Room).

    We end the Fall semester with a Sunday evening Christmas Concert, and the Spring semester ends with a Spring Sing Concert and a musical put on by the Young Musicians and Music Makers choirs.  Extra rehearsal on days other than Wednesday will be necessary for the Music Makers and Young Musician during the few weeks prior to their concert/musical. Wednesday Kids’ Club - Summer Schedule (May - Sep)

    The intent of Kids' Club is to form a basic spiritual foundation for children by teaching basic Bible truths, classic Bible stories, and introducing them to spiritual disciplines (Prayer, service, giving, Bible study, etc.) at an early age, and in a small group setting.  Classes are available starting with pre-Kindergarten 4-5 thru 5th grade. Maximum class size is 15 students, each with two adult volunteers.  We currently use "Hands on Bible" curriculum.
     Kids' Club is designed to correspond with the 6:00 adult mid-week worship and Bible study, thus giving children an age-appropriate place to study while allowing their parents to do the same.
