Need a night out! NAPS, Next Gen and Gen Now are hosting Parent's Night Out / Lock In. The event cost $10 per child and is $40 max per family. Parents Night Out is from 4pm to 8pm and cares for Birth - 5th grade. The Lock in is from 4pm to 11am the next day and cares for 6th - 12th grade students. This is going to be a great night of food, fun and games, featuring Blacklight Dodgeball. Sign up ends Dec. 6th. you can sign up in the Kids ministry area or out at the MAC.
Come tag along with your kids and join us for a family fun afternoon on October 8th from 4pm-7pm. We will start in the Worship Center.
Children are welcome to wear family friendly costumes. And of course, you can't have a fest without candy!

This is a time where you can come and go between 5-6:30pm and pray. The Worship Center will be open and we ask you to come and pray. It is that simple, we want to provide a place that you come and seek God and detach from the chaos of the day, even if it is for 5 minutes. Come and pray.
Join us for our fall retreat at Cedarbrake Retreat Center. This is a great time to get away and unwind from the chaos of life. We will have breakout sessions, worship and times to unwind and build relationships with one another. The cost is $80 and you can register below.
Mark your calendars, VBS is just around the corner our theme this year is Maker Fun Factory. The dates are July 10-14th and will be from 8:40am - 12:10pm. This event is great for kids who have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade. If you're interested, please fill out the form for child registration below. We are excited to announce the beginning of Summer Serve on June 14th. In the next couple of weeks be on the lookout for sign ups in the back foyer for different areas to serve our community this summer. This is a great opportunity to hang out with friends or go on a date with your spouse. All children birth through 12th grade are welcome. Birth through 5th grade will be in the NAPS wing and students 6th through 12th grade will be in the MAC. The cost for 5th grade and under is $10/child with a $40 max/family. THIS YEAR'S TOPIC
The Bible is the foundation for faith among followers of Christ in churches around the world. Yet many such Christians never think to ask why this is the case. After all . . .
· How did we get this holy book?
· Who decided what would and wouldn’t be included in it?
· How do we know it’s true? Are there any errors in it?
· Is it necessary? Is it sufficient? Is it authoritative for my life?
· How can I understand it?
Even as Christians ask and answer such pivotal questions, the culture around us asks even more pressing questions: Isn’t the Bible antiquated and outdated? Isn’t it chauvinistic and offensive? Isn’t it downright deceptive and ultimately dangerous?
During this Secret Church, we will explore answers to critical questions about the Bible in order to discern what place it should (or should not) have in the lives of Christians and the implications those answers have for our lives, our families, and our churches in the culture around us.
Come and join us for our Valentine's Day Dance! Our theme this year is western and we don't want to brag, but it is going to be a two-steppin time! We will also have a bake potato bar with all the fixin's and more. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. All proceeds will go towards youth ministry. Don't forget to wear your best western wear and we'll see you there!

We might not say it often, but we are always in need of volunteers. On Jan. 29th our staff will be hosting our annual Volunteer Fair. After service, we invite you to walk through building two (right behind our Connection Point) where each ministry will have a table set up with opportunities to serve.
We invite you to come and be apart of 12 Hours of Prayer on Jan. 28th. You can sign up online or at the Connection Point. Each person will have the opportunity to sign up for one or multiple 15 min. Slots beginning at 7am. During this time we will have the auditorium and Prayer Room available for your use. Start this year off seeking God’s direction on the way you can make much of Jesus this year.
(Current available times predominantly between 12pm-6pm)
This life-changing class taught by Dave Ramsey and the FPU teaching team on video and coordinated by LeaAnn Crawford at Memorial Baptist Church in Killeen, TX will help you achieve your financial goals by showing you how to eliminate debt, save for the future, and give like never before. You will be challenged and motivated to make a plan for your money and change your family tree forever.
The Women's Ministry will be collecting food for the homeless in Killeen. We will collect on the 9th and the 16th of October. There will be a box in the back foyer for you to place your items.
The items needed:
Breakfast and Lunch Food
Pancake Syrup, Pancake Mixes, Water, Juice (non-perishable), Granola bars, poptarts, Donuts/Pastries, Coffee, Sugar, Creamer, Coffee cups, Juice cups, Plates, Napkins, Plastic utensils, Takeaway boxes, Gift cards for perishables at HEB/Walmart or Sam's, Lunch sacks, Sandwich bags, Individual chip bags, Little Debbie desserts, Snacks.
To begin raising funds for this structure, we plan to have a community wide garage sale on October 8th here at the church. Your opportunity to help is as simple as this: we are asking for donations of garage sale items; any items in good condition you may have around the house that you are willing to give to our mission. We are looking for items such as infant and school aged children’s clothes in good condition, furniture, baby items, … anything really that would help us raise funds. We will be collecting these items on the following dates: Saturday, Sept. 17, Saturday, Sept. 24, and Saturday, October 1st.
You can drop donations off at the church, back near the MAC. If you have larger items like furniture or working appliances to donate, we would be happy to come to your house and pick them up on those same dates. Hours for drop-off or pick-up will be from 8am to 1pm. If you have items to donate or are simply ready to do some “spring cleaning” and you would like to schedule us to pick up, please contact me through the church office.
100% of funds raised will go to the costs of building this protective cover.
